Ischoolnet.org takes the worry out of using complex tools.  We know that your school depends on its student information system, library system, on-line classroom software, e-mail and Web CMS.  And the pressure to get it just right means that you won't have time to get it right -- without help.

 

You need support and that's what we offer, a complete support package for any of the Big 5:  We host, configure, support and train users (teachers, office staff, administrators) in how to use Free and Open software for Schools. 

 

This is software as a service with the freedom to access not only your information, but the code -- on your server or ours. 

 

We offer you our considerable experience and knowledge of schools in general and these tools (The Big 5)  in particular.  It is our experience that tells us which tools to recommend, but like any complex tool.  As with all complex tools, however,  it takes time to learn and make the best use of them.

 

Why are we so sure we can help you? Because we have had the good fortune to be involved in the community that makes these tools.   Furthermore, we are experienced teachers, and we have the right kinds of customized servers, the interest, the discipline and the good will necessary to make complex and powerful tools such as these work with particular schools.

 

By the way, if you're already using other tools, ask us about about data migration.   Chances are, we can import your data into into new tools.
