Ysien Lau wins Australian National Cadet (U17) Fencing Championship

At the end of July, the annual Australian National Fencing Championships for Cadets (U17s) and U15s was held in Sydney. A strong international field competed, including all of the Australian state team fencers, as well as fencers from Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and other countries. Ysien Lau (9JSh) and Ywen Lau (7CmK) competed in the categories of Women's Foil and Women's Sabre respectively. Congratulations to Ysien on taking both the Cadet and the U15 Women's Foil Championships, and to Ywen, for taking silver in the U15 Women's Championship and bronze in the Cadet Championship.
